God gives everyone a certain amount of stuff.  Your stuff includes both things and money.  Then He asks us to trust Him and obey Him when it comes to managing the stuff He gave us.  But trust is not a one time choice.  Trust and obedience is a decision followed by a process.  In this sermon series, Pastor Ferrell shows us that trust is always tethered to tangible things.  When we choose to trust God everyday with everything we have, we will discover the joy of investing our stuff into His eternal work.  This is called “KINGDOMNOMICS”.

MISSION: To acknowledge the unique life circumstances brought about by the sacrifice of serving in the military.  To respond by offering help and services confidentially in the church, and/or recommending services in the community and information on base services. To mentor younger spouses and military members in their Christian walk and the military life style. To support the military family before,  during, and after a deployment, remote or any other time we are needed.

MONTHLY PIZZA PARTY & FELLOWSHIP FOR SPOUSES FACING DEPLOYMENT OR REMOTE
Meets the 4th Friday of the month to offer support to each other and discuss various issues surrounding deployments and remotes. Guest speakers, library, etc. Held at Whitley Church in the Carpenter’s House at 6pm.
Children are welcome and a free play arcade is available.

PRAYER PARTNERS:
Maintains e-mail contact with the deployed/remote members to stay up to date with prayer requests and prays for them while they are gone.

MOTHERS OF PRESCHOOLERS
A program led by mothers themselves and designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten. We meet the first and third Tuesday of every month during the school year from 9:30 -11:30 am at Whitley Church. Your children will be signed into the loving care of our MOPPET caregivers. They are divided into age appropriate groups. There is also a nursery for infants and children under the age of 3.

ANGEL FOOD MINISTRIES
Angel Food provides a box of food for $30.00 that feeds a family of four for about a week. The food is from first rate suppliers, each month’s menu is different and consists of fresh, frozen and packaged food.

This is a non-needs based program.

What is “4:12”?

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.-1 Tim 4:12

Based off of 1 Timothy 4:12, we offer intimate worship, relevant teaching, small groups based on current grade level, and outreach projects that will be designed to help students learn about God, grow in their relationship with Him, and get connected with their peers. The music, the message and high energy activities will bring middle school students to a place where they can be reached and challenged in their walks with God, as well as impacting the community.

WHY WE’RE HERE:
The vision of “4:12” is to lead students into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.  We feel this is done best when we create environments where middle school students can:

·     Define and Develop a PERSONAL relationship with Jesus Christ
·     Lead by example among their friends/family
·     Experience personal ministry

WHEN WE MEET:
Our weekly services take place every Sunday morning from 10:30 am till 11:30 am in the Carpenter’s House.  We encourage our youth to come early to fellowship, grab something from the coffee shop, and play in our fully loaded and FREE arcade room. This will also be a great time for Parents to come and check out what we’re doing before service starts.

The mission of Intentionally Yours Marriage Ministry is to lead couples to intentionally deepen their relationships with Jesus Christ and their spouses, empowering them to live out and fulfill their life’s purpose and establish a legacy of strong, Christ centered marriages for generations to come.

Through classes, marriage retreats, small groups, date nights and other activities, Intentionally Yours shares God’s truth, hope and vision for marriage with married and premarried couples; enabling couples, through Jesus Christ, to intentionally strengthen, build, repair, and restore marriages.

Led by Scott & Sherry Jennings, Intentionally Yours also provides encouragement for couples facing challenges and questions in their marriages through couple to couple meetings and email.  They are a resource who will pray, seek and share God’s truth and will for your marriage.  Scott & Sherry continue to experience the amazing power of God’s grace and love in their marriage, having walked through marital trials and storms and emerged together victoriously. Hi, I am Pastor Ferrell Hardison.  Let me ask you two questions:

1. Have you given your life to Jesus Christ?
   
2. Are you sure that if you die right now you will go to heaven?

IF NOT, please read carefully as I tell you how you can become a Christian:

• ADMIT YOUR SIN
  You must understand that, just like me, just like Billy Graham, and just like every other person, you were born a sinner.  You were born with a need that you can not meet.  Only Jesus Christ can meet your need. Romans 2:23 reads, “ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”
  
• ABANDON SELF-EFFORT
  You must accept the fact that you can not save yourself by your own efforts.  The Bible makes it very clear that it is not by any good works you may have done, but only by His mercy that are made right with God.  (Titus 3:5 & Ephesians 2:8-9)
  
• ACKNOWLEDGE CHRIST’S PAYMENT
  You must believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for your sins (Romans 5:8).  This means that Jesus died in your place. Your sin debt has been paid by the blood of Jesus Christ.  His blood cleanses us from all sin (I John 1:7).
  
• ACCEPT HIM AS YOUR SAVIOR
  You must put your faith in Jesus Christ and in him alone.  No one else can save you.  The death of Christ does you no good until you receive Him by faith (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Acts 16:31).
  
  Say this PRAYER from your heart:
  Dear God, I am a sinner, I’m lost, and I need to be saved.  I know I can not save myself.  So right now, once and for all, I trust you to save me.  I welcome You.  I receive You into my heart RIGHT NOW.  Forgive all my sins and make me Your child.  I give you my life and I will live for You each day as You give me strength.
  
  If you will make this you heartfelt prayer, God WILL hear you and He WILL save you!
  
  Jesus has promised that he will not turn away anyone who comes to Him in faith (John 6:37).It does not matter what you have done.
  It does not matter what sin you may have committed in the past.

  Pray this prayer NOW. DO NOT listen to the enemy as he tries to talk you out of making this most important decision in your life!!

NOW WHAT?
Okay, you’ve prayed.  You’ve asked Jesus Christ to cleanse you and come into your heart.  Here are your next steps:

• Call someone and tell them what you have done.  Maybe a friend who has been praying for you.  Call them.  Give them the good news!  If you don’t have anyone else you can tell, call ME! (919-735-5411, Ext. 302)  If I am not in. leave a message with your phone number, and I will call you back to celebrate!
• Start reading your Bible. I recommend The Message or The New Living.  These Bibles are written in way you can easily understand.
• Find a Bible-believing church and start attending. We would be delighted to have you attend our church, but that is not what is most important.  Ask God to lead you to the church He wants you to attend.  Get involved.  Volunteer.  Start spending time with people who will help you grow in your walk with Christ.
• Do NOT turn away from your old friends. It’s true that you might not be able to go to the old places you used to go, and you might not be able to do the things you used to do, BUT don’t do anything that would make your old friends get the idea that you think you’re better than them.
• Pray and read your Bible every day.  Start with the book of John, then read Psalms and Proverbs.  When you pray, simply talk to God the way you would talk to a friend.
